Description:
A reasonably nice copy of this Nebula Award winning novel. A shorter version won the Hugo Award for 1959 -- the novel is (IMO) enough better to be really worth the second award. The book is clean and tight; the jacket has some discoloration and several small closed tears, front and spine -- see pictures. Jacket is unclipped, with $4.95 price still present.Rear of jacket has a bookseller's sticker (Kroch and Brentano's, Chicago). An uncommon book, and a real SF cornerstone.

Description:
Glen Ellen CA: Entwhistle, 1980. First edition. Hardcover. no dustjacket (as issued). Charles Stephenson. An amusing book about one Friday night in New York's Greenwich Village in the early-mid 1960s. The illustrations were done by the artist taking slides of many people (including author Norman Spinrad and author/editor John Silbersack) acting out the novel, then taking the pictures away and drawing sketches from them. This is one of 500 hardbound copies, but not one of the 200 numbered and signed copies -- it is, however, signed by Anderson on the half-title. The cream-colored boards show some smudges, and the spine is slightly discolored -- inside, the book is clean and nice. tw
