Initialed on the endpaper, with his handwritten penciled notes mirroring Aleister Crowley's personal holographic copy. Laid in, are three sheets (undoubtedly from Gerald Yorke), titled "Marginalia and poetry penciled by A.C. into his copy of The Focus of Life by A.O.S Spare(...)From the copy in the collection of G.J.Yorke." Vellum shows age and wear, Gold Gilt spine title bright with no loss. Brown buckram textured boards show general wear, with extremity aging. Though square, corners rubbed. T.E.G. Sewn binding tight. One of the earlier issues without pasted slip over the title page "with an introduction by Francis Marsden", unsigned, unnumbered. The images are a joy.
