There are black and gold drawings on the spine and front in the style of Appletons' Town and Country Library.

New York: Shapiro, Bernstein & Co., 1922. First Thus . Soft cover. Good/No Jacket. Folio - over 12 - 15" tall. This copy is rubbed, more so at the edges. There is some very light surface soil. Red wraps with black titles in a white banner over a photo of a Brown and Whittaker, this handsome young couple must have featured the tune. The outer wrap is split a bit at the spine top and bottom. Inside the front wrap is one page of "Georgette by Brown and Henderson. The rear has a single bar of several tunes including "True Blue Sam (The Traveling Man)".

Philadelphia: H. F. Anners, 1852. First Edition First Printing . Hardcover. Very Good/No Jacket. 12mo - over 6¾ - 7¾" tall. H. Egleton, H. Hawkins, et al.. This copy is clean, tight, square and, but for a extremely faint, pencil name on a front end paper, unmarked. It is bound in what we believe is brown leather. The entire surface is elaborately blind stamped giving it a lacquered appearance. It is rubbed, lightly at the corners, more so at the ends of the spine where there is a short split at the top, front. The titles on the back strip are gold. It has pale yellow end papers and is illustrated with steel engravings of paintings. It contains "Justine" by Wilson, "The Lover's Leap" by Allen, "On the New Year" by Strickland, among many other works. It has 268 pages, gilt edged all around. It has a bit if a roll.

This book is from the Henry Polissack and bears the bookplate of Ronald MacCorkell on the front paste down. Otherwise, it is clean, tight, square and unmarked. It is rubbed, more so at the corners and fore edge. It has 52, clear, lightly soiled pages illustrated with black & white drawings in a one-quarter binding with lacquered brown cloth on the spine which has five raised bands. The boards are covered in brown marbled paper.

There is a gift inscription described below otherwise it is clean, tight, square with good corners and unmarked. There is tipped in a marriage certificate that states "This Certifies that Henry Hyde of Winchendon and Miss Lucia T. Hill of Townsend were this day United In Marriage by me G. H. Morss Pastor Cong. Chch Sept. 13, 1870." On a ffep, the pastor has inscribed "Lucia T. Hyde from her pstor Rev. G. H. Morss Sept. 13 1870 'Each for the other and both for God''. There is laid in and elegant little place card Mr. & Mrs. Samuel T. Hill Jr. (presumably the parents of the bride). and a an Elizabet Browning poem clipped from a newspaper "A Woman's Question".
