Bound in red cloth with some minor fading, with gilt titles and teg, has a splendid woodcut frontispiece by William Roberts in the cubist style (reminiscent of Roberts tail-piece drawings in "Seven Pillars of 1926). Introductory note by Richard Aldington. An uncomfortable novella, this was published the same year as his first novel, 'Drift.' His second novel 'Boy' (1931) was prosecuted for obscenity by Bury police. T.E.
