Map decorated paper over boards slipcase, brown leather over boards, gilt lettering and decorations at spine, six raised bands at spine, top and bottom edges green, gray end papers, bookmark ribbon still attached, number 240 of 350 copies signed by the author at Limited Edition page. Near Fine slip case, slightly faded from the original purple color, small bump at bottom end, fine overall.

New York: Random House, (1945). First Edition stated. Near Fine, previous owner's ink name on front free endpaper, in Very Good dustjacket, with a few closed tears, foxing, not price clipped

First Edition, First Printing, with "chatter" for "echolalia" on p. 60, "northern" for "southern" on p. 119, "sick in tired" for "sickantired" on p. 205, and "Union Street station" for "Union Station" on p. 211. Bruccoli A11.1.a. A reasonably nice copy, but not exemplar, with lettering faded at spine, spine end cloth rubbed, inner hinges shaken but holding, some spotting and wear to cloth, small previous owner's name 'Lowenthal' inked at lower front pastedown.

New York: Beginner Books, 1960. First Edition, with First Issue points, including "50 Word Vocabulary" sticker to front panel of dustjacket. This copy includes an index card signed by Seuss laid in. Shiny pictorial boards, color pictorial endpapers, color illustrations throughout, color illustrated dustjacket. Almost Near Fine in Very Good dustjacket, some nicks, rubbing and short closed tears at spine ends.

New York: J. H. Colton, 1844. First edition. 12mo, original brown blind stamped cloth with gilt lettering on front cover.Map of West Point in color, 13 inches wide and 16 inches tall serves as frontispiece. Map is complete and with no tears. Very good condition with some foxing.

Dayton, Ohio: United Brethren Publishing House, 1878. First Edition. Octavo, original blue cloth lettered in gilt and with black border lines. Compiled by the ladies of the St. Francis Street Methodist Episcopal Church, South, Mobile, Alabam. Very scarce, important early cookbook with the first appearance of recipe for Jambalaya (here called Jam Bolaya). Much Creole cuisine, preceding the New Orleans Creole cookery books. Spine ends chipped, front corners bumped, front hinge starting. Very Good overall.
