Red cloth boards with dustjacket in protective slip, printed 'in complete conformity with the authorised economy standards' following world war II. Some bumping to top of DJ but otherwise in very good and clean conditon.

First edition of Bair's satirical novel of the invasion of a lakeside town by exploitative prospectors. Green cloth boards with gilt lettering. Some slight bumping and browning but text-block is crisp. Dustjacket has a number of small tears at the extremities and one larger one across the front cover that someone has covered (quite neatly) with clear tape. Overall good condition.
