Yellowstone Park, WY: Haynes, Inc., 1937. Near fine. Octavo (28 x 21.5 cm), pp. 8. Staple-bound, double-sided print-out of Haynes pictures by number and title, with copyrighted images indicated.Frank Jay HaynesÂ’ numbering system was rather haphazard, so his son Jack instituted a practice beginning in 1915, in which the first two digits of the image identifier indicate the last two numbers of the year in which a negative was taken, and the following numbers are in sequence as to what point in that yearÂ’s series it was taken. An invaluable resource for Haynes collectors.
