The cover illustration represents Richard Boone in character, and there are many color illustrations throughout the book, created by Nicholas S. Firfires. This copy has rubbing at the base of the spine, and an area of less than a square inch at the top of the spine that is delaminating. Otherwise the cover is in very good condition, with bright color. There are marks from a small liquid spill at the top of some pages, but the pages themselves are unmarked. There is yellowing of the low-quality paper used for these adapted novels, but only what is normal for their age. Internal illustrations are clear and colors are as originally printed. This listing not only has all three volumes from the 1990 release, but they are a boxed set. The box has some bump and rubbing damage, but is overall in Very Good or better condition. The books appear unread, and are sharp, tight, and square. There are traces of rubbing or smearing on the spines, and there is something that looks like a crease on the spine of volume three.
