Marbled edges and endsheets. Each vol. measures 7 x 4-3/4 inches; vol. 1: xxxi, (folding map) 334; vol. 2: xvi, 357; vol. 3: xv, 334 pages. Text in English. An ex-institutional library set with call numbering painted on spine and internal stamping (but no library pockets). Each vol. also has prior owner name on ffep and a few instances of scattered marking (mostly library penciling). Leather is quite sound and should be very attractive with proper dressing and call number removal. Some age-toning to text block but no staining or foxing. (front r.s)
