Pictorial orange wraps with black titles over an absolutely wonderful drawing of a handsome flapper on orange hat and white dress with orange polka-dots. The outer wrap is split a bit at the spine top and bottom. The rear has a single page of Berlin's "What'll I Do".

New York: Robbins Music Corporation, 1929. First Thus . Soft cover. Fair/good/No Jacket. Folio - over 12 - 15" tall. This copy is rubbed at the edge and the outer wrap is split at the spine. There is some light surface soil. White wraps with orange & black titles over a full page cartoon drawing of a college quartet. From the MGM movie "So This Is College". Inside the front wrap is a few bars of "Until the End" and "Sophomore Prom" similarly on the rear "Singin' In The Rains" and "Your Mother and Mine".

Chcago: Forster, 1929. First Thus . Soft cover. Very Good/No Jacket. Folio - over 12 - 15" tall. The front wrap is orange with black titles and a couple under an umbrella in the rain. There's a photo of Ford and Glenn "The Lullaby Boys" who featured the song and held the original copyright. The rear has "another-big-waltz-hit", "Blue Waters".

This sheet music is clean, tight, square and internally unmarked, but there is a small name on the front. It is lightly rubbed. It has 5, minimally toned pages in wrpas with an art deco drawing and photo of Tommy Clines on the front. AMong the ads is a few bars of "Sharing" by the same duo.

New York: Harms, 1928. Soft cover. Good-/No Jacket. Folio - over 12 - 15" tall. This set of sheet music is clean, square and internally unmarked, but there is a very small name on the front. It has 5 minimally toned pages with a few bars of "Was It A Dream?" inside the front wrap. It has edge wear with short closed tears and the spine is repaired. It is from the musical play "Good Boy" produced by Arthur Hammerstein.

There is a small name under the title.

It has 412, bright, clear pages illustrated with black & white drawings bound in powder blue wraps with black titles on the spine and front. Yhe author has signed the front page.

Philadelphia: Sunshine Publishing, 1890. First Edition First Printing . Hardcover. Very Good/No Jacket. Folio - over 12 - 15" tall. This assumed first edition is clean, tight, square with pretty good corners and unmarked. It is mildly rubbed at the edges, noticeable at the ends of the spine and tips of the corners. It has decorative end papers and glossy gilt edged pages illustrated with black and white drawings and 20, lithographed water color engvavings bound in gold cloth covered boards with blue and green drawings of flower on the front and rear and gilt titles on the spine and front where there is also a gilt vignette of marching children. The plate "our hope for the future" is loose at the top, but in place. A late page has a closed tear repaired with aging cellophane tape. It is unpaginated.

Lyon: Les Freres Bruyset, 1727. Leather Bound. Good/No Jacket. 16mo - over 5¾ - 6¾" tall. This book is clean, tight, square with good corners and internally unmarked, but there is some writing on the title page. The title page is loose and laid in. It is rubbed surface and edges. It has 349, bright, clear pages, red edged all around bound in brown leather with 5 raised bands on the spine with gold designs in all the panels but one and that has gilt titles on red.

Philadelphia: Henry Altemus, 1890. Hardcover. Good+/No Jacket. 12mo - over 6¾ - 7¾" tall. This book is clean, tight, square and unmarked. It is bound in soft, brown leather (suede) with gold titles on the front. The suede is rubbed at the edges. The spine is a bit faded and chipped at the ends. The pages are gilt edged at the top, deckle edged elsewhere. It has iridescent green end papers. A lovely, little book. There is no publication date, but 1890 is the copyright date.

Boston: Roberts Brothers, 1890. Hardcover. Very Good/No Jacket. 12mo - over 6¾ - 7¾" tall. E. T. Compton. This book is clean, tight, square and unmarked. It is very lightly bumped/rubbed and there is a book plate on the front paste down. It has 182, bright, clear pages illustrated with black & white drawings bound in brown cloth covered boards. It has gold & red titles and white & red drawings of fields with wild flowers on the spine and front.

New York: Dodd, Mead, 1891. First American Edition 1st Printing. Hardcover. Good+/No Jacket. 12mo - over 6¾ - 7¾" tall. This book is clean, tight and square with sharp corners. There is an owner's signature inside the front board; otherwise it is unmarked. There is some rubbing at the edges which can be lightly noticed at the corners and ends of the spine, but more so on 2"at the side of the rear board. There is damage to many pages at the side edge. This damage does not effect the text block and is therefore mainly cosmetic, but there are several closed tear and several open tears. It has boards covered in blue cloth with silver titles at the spine.

London: James Bowden, 1897. First Edition First Printing . Soft cover. Good-/No Jacket. 12mo - over 6¾ - 7¾" tall. This assumed first edition (NAP) is clean, tight, square and unmarked. It has plain white cardboard wraps with an outer layer like a dust jacket that also served as the spine covering. The spine covering is basically off and the edges of the sewn signatures can be seen. The covering on the rear wrap is split top to bottom. The age darkened outer wrap is mustard color with an ocean scene on the front and yellow titles. Its 64 pages (an half dozen pages of ads) are clear and minimally toned. it is a narrow book.

Venice: Antonio Bortoli, 1766. Hardcover. Very Good/No Jacket. 12mo - over 6¾ - 7¾" tall. This Sixth edition is clean, tight, square and internally unmarked, but there is a signature on the ffep. It is lightly rubbed with light surface soil. There are a few splits, but the binding strings are holding very well indeed. It has 128, clear, lightly foxed pages bound in white parchment covered flexible boards. This stated first edition is clean, tight, square with good corners (one very lightly bumped) and unmarked. It is lightly rubbed, noticeable at the ends of the spine and tips of the corners. There are some minor dents on the front board. It has a one-quarter binding with tan cloth and green titles on the spine. The boards are covered in green cloth. It is illustrated with black & white, period photos, has pictorial end paper (map of Texas) and 294 pages.

The outer wraps of advertising material are lightly rubbed. C., British tribute to Canadians, Canadians retaking the guns at Ypres (among others). Among the articles are "The Great War" by Lowe. It is profusely illustrated with black & white photos and drawings and has many great period ads. It has pp. 582-612.

This limited edition, 208 of 750, is clean, tight, square with sharp corners and unmarked. It is basically a book of 56 glossy full page illustration tipped in with a bit of text (in French) explaining from where they were selected. The book has marbled end papers and is in a three-quarter binding with green leather at the corners and spine where the green has sunned to mellow brown. There are five raised bands on the spine with gilt titles. The boards are marbled paper.
