A facsimile, in wraps, of a four page letter (on two sheets) written by Boswell to Johnson published to commemorate the 200th anniversary of Boswell's death on 19th May 1795. The green wraps, which are faded towards the edges but otherwise in very good condition, contain a typed version of the letter together with a note on it by Graham Nicholls.

This book is an abridged translation of Bishop Wishart's "History of the Kings Majesties Affairs in Scotland" under Montrose.
