Saddle-stapled wrappers; 21 pp. The author provides an historical background on Jehovah Witnesses, their doctrine of Christ and conception of hell and eternal punishment, and how to convert them to Christianity. Some rubbing to wrappers, Near Fine.

New York: The Dial Press, 1939. First edition. 8vo.; blue moire cloth with gilt-stamped spine, 107 pp., dust jacket. A panoramic picture of American life "viewed from the standpoint of a progressive Hebrew theologian who is as much an American as a Jew." Levitsky, who was Canadian-born, presents an idealized vision of America, what he terms a "new world symphony," and argues that Jews and Christians must join in solidarity against atheism. Faint foxing to endpapers, some underlining; in an unclipped dust jacket, which is rubbed and with light wear to crown and one small closed tear.

[Los Angeles]: [American White Guard], 1937. A 4 ¼" x 4 " sticker featuring the "Coat of Arms of the CIO," which is an illustration of two Jews sitting back-to-back hiding bombs and cudgels under their winged cloaks. Listed are eight Jewish CIO leaders and an acronym for the USSR: Union of Soulless Swine and Robbers. Although no creator is listed, a letter from American White Guard founder, Henry Allen, to Jewish Community Committee operative, Charles Slocombe, who infiltrated the American White Guard, describes the stickers and implores "Charlie" to "put out as many thousand of the enclosed in Long Beach as you can possibly manage." He offers the stickers on gummed paper (our copy) for $3.50 per thousand and on ordinary paper ("for hand distribution or mailing") for $2.75 per thousand. The letter has been digitized and can be found in the Jewish Federation Council of Greater Los Angeles' Community Relations Committee Collection (phew).

Union, NJ: Christian Educational Association, 1956. First edition. The author documents the preponderance of Jews in domestic Communist groups and the history of Jewish involvement in International Communism to counter the propaganda of "professional Jewish ‘defense' organizations such as the Anti-Defamation League of B'nai B'rith and the American Jewish Congress [who] have been frantically raising the cry that American Jews are as anti-Communist as their gentiel countrymen, and that Judaism itself actually represents a strong moral and social bulwark against Soviet Bolshevism" (p. 4). "George Pickney" is believed to be a pseudonym. One of the most widely circulated pamphlets by Conde McGinley's Christian Educational Association. Stapled wrappers (7 " x 5 ½"), 31, [1] p., two photographs of Communist Jews. A Near Fine copy with some toning to wrapper edges and browning to cheap paper.

New York: Jewish Currents, 1968. First edition. 4to.; blue wrappers printed in blue; [20] glossy pages; photographs. The keepsake program from the tenth anniversary dinner of Jewish Currents in celebration of the twentieth anniversary of the State of Israel. Includes the UN Security Council Resolution, November 22, 1967, on the need for peace in the Middle East, which the progressive Jewish Currents staff presumably supported; a tribute to Martin Luther King, Jr.; the night's program; and many adverts from Jewish businesses and individuals congratulating Jewish Currents and the people of Israel. Very faint sunning to wrapper edges.

One of an unknown number of reports prepared by the American Labor Archive and Research Institute for the Jewish Labor Committee between approximately 1944-1948. The reports were based on exhaustive reading of the labor press to assess the labor movement's views on Jews and anti-Semitism, Palestine/Israel, native fascism and the Ku Klu Klan, discrimination, immigration/xenophobia, etc. This report for April, 1948 begins with general remarks by the compiler followed by the various sections: "In Behalf of Jews," "The Problem of Palestine," "The Evils of Discrimination," "Displaced Persons and Immigration," "Cartoons and Brotherhood," "Fair Employment Practices," "In Behalf of Negroes," "The Jewish Press," "The Negro Press," "The Catholic Press," "References to the Jewish Labor Committee," and "Reports from 'Labor Reports." Wichita, Kansas: Defender Publications, 1955. First edition. A two-part article written by Kenneth Goff and initially published in the Sept. and Oct. 1955 issues of Gerald Winrod's "Defender" magazine. Goff describes the Talmud as the "filthiest rot ever put into human language" and decries its influence over the Jewish people, and increasingly, over American Gentile culture. He then discusses the disproportionate Jewish influence in the media and political institutions and accuses Jews of fomenting racial strife. A particularly strident attack, but not atypical for Goff or the standard fare published by Winrod. Stapled wrappers (3 ¼" x 8 ½"), 16 pp. A Fine copy. Only three copies of this first edition in OCLC (Michigan, Michigan State, and Univ. of Colorado). Scarce.

Guildford, Surrey: Published by the author, 1947. Second edition. In this lengthy pamphlet written in the spring of 1945, British anti-Semite Arnold Leese refutes the various reasons given for Britain's involvement in the war and maintains that it was solely based on Jewish self-preservation and advancement. One of the more substantive Leese titles at 124 p., most of his works were much shorter including his 74-page autobiography. Initially published at the end of 1945 and according to Leese limited to a few hundred copies circulated by friends, this second edition was expanded and appears to have been printed in the U.S. - for Leese - in 1947. Textured, stapled cream wrappers (9" x 6") printed in red & black; viii, 124 p., errata sheet tipped in. Some smudging and light wear to wrappers, very good. One side reproduces a signed statement by a Greek Archbishop in Jordan concerning the destruction of sacred places by Zionist Jews originally distributed by G. L. K. Smith; the other side reproduces an editorial from "National Catholic Magazine" concerning the Zionist invasion of Arab lands. Printed on an 11" x 8 ½" sheet with Dilys' characteristic rubber stamping in the margins. Two horizontal creases from mailing, else a Fine copy.

San Francisco: Jihad News, 1974. An issue of the Afrikan People's Party's (APP) newspaper featuring articles on liberation struggles in Africa, a section called News from the African World, updates on prisoner struggles in the U.S., a tribute to Queen Mother Moore including poems, letters, and photographs, profiles of Pan-Afrikan leaders, etc. The APP began in 1968 out of the dissolution of the Revolutionary Action Movement (RAM) and was originally called the African American Party of National Liberation, or Black Liberation Party, becoming the APP in 1972. It established cadres in Philadelphia, New York, Chicago, Los Angeles, and San Francisco, which struggled for black control over black institutions, on behalf of black prisoners, black workers, and tenants and against the Klan and police brutality. London: John Miller, 1825. First UK edition. 12mo. Bound in half navy blue morocco and half marbled paper; marbled page edges; xix, 327 pp. An unattributed satirical work by the American writer and Secretary of the U.S. Navy, James Kirke Paulding (1778-1860). Paulding was a friend and collaborator of Washington Irving's and was associated with the "Knickerbocker Group." In this work, he caricatures the class of British travel writers known themselves for caricaturing American society to their readers back in England. A Very Good copy with some rubbing to binding and paper loss to board edges.

New York: The Bookmailer, Inc, 1959. The trade edition of this elusive right-wing epistolary novel that describes events in the U.S. from 1957-1976. In a series of letters to his uncle, Ranger John Franklin describes the replacement of America's constitutional government with a Soviet-inspired, internationalist one, and the clandestine activities of the Rangers, a patriotic guerrilla group that restores the constitutional government and elects a Negro President (!?). Anonymously authored, the book was published by The Bookmailer, the right-wing publishing company operated by ex-CIA agent, Lyle Munson. Advertised as being written by two ex-intelligence agents, the book was likely authored by Munson himself, a claim supported by Bookmailer author, Edward Hunter, in an issue of his newsletter Tactics (see "Lyle Munson: Summing Up a Life" in Tactics, Vol. 11, No. 11, pgs. 5-10). Chicago: Mark Morris Design for the Conspiracy, 1969. A poster featuring photographs of the Chicago 8 with an invitation to "join the conspiracy" at the Weatherman-organized Days of Rage in Chicago from October 8-11, 1969. The Chicago 8 (later, Chicago 7), which included prominent activists Bobby Seale, Dave Dellinger, Tom Hayden, Rennie Davis, Jerry Rubin, Abbie Hoffman, John Froines, and Lee Weiner, were arrested on conspiracy charges following violent protests at the 1968 Democratic National Convention in Chicago. The Days of Rage was intended to "bring the war home" by violently confronting the establishment, but a poor turnout and a massive police presence resulted in a large number of arrests and injuries of protestors. The action was highly criticized by other activist groups including the Black Panthers, but for the Weathermen, it was just a prelude to their descent into terrorism.
