Del Rey, 1984. Hardback. Near Fine/Very Good+. Book club edition, NF/VG+ with slight bumps at head and heel, associated small closed tears (1/16") to dj, a touch of spine lean, and general wear. Read once, by me, back in my college days. Offered up because I found a cheap, pristine first to replace it. A satirical romp through parallel universes. Quite readable by the standards of later Heinlein.

Note that Hawke used to write under his birth name of Nicholas Yermakov, but legally changed his name to Simon Hawke in 1984.

Tale of a man named Reader's Digest, after the titular magazine, issues of which were prevalent in his boyhood orphanage, and his picaresque journey across America to Pleasantville, NY to visit the home of his
namesake.
