Navy blue boards with white wrap on spine, silver lettering on spine. Boards have sun-faded top edge else Very Good+ rating. DJ has some minimal edge wear on top edge, head and tail; no tears. Inside book front cover, previous owner kept 2 book reviews- clippings torn from NY Times (written by Alfred Kazin and John Leonard), as well as 2 professional cards from E.P. Dutton (publisher) asking for two copies of written reviews to be sent, and to be sure to note that the publication date would be October 27, 1980. This apparent advance review copy was also accompanied by a professional photo still of the author Townsend Ludington, apparently also provided by E.P. Dutton. This interesting ephemera accounts for a markup in price being asked.
