According to Steadman, this, one of his silkscreen dog prints was "drawn by me but printed by master printer Joe Petro III in Kentucky, where thoroughbred horses are teased into life and pampered like Princes . . . I created a whole shit-load of dog drawings to make a book about these foul creatures and Joe was eager to make prints from some of them. I notice that he has chosen three of his own dogs to immortalize and with a name like Joe Petro III I guess that figures!!! . . . They do look nice in frames and on your walls.....I do hope that you agree." One-color silkscreen on warm white Rising Stonehenge deckle edge paper measuring 18 x 30 inches. Fine.
