NY: G. W. Carleton & Co., 1880. First Edition . Hardcover. Poor copy in the original green cloth with black embossing on the front cover, and gilt lettering on the spine. First 3 pages (including frontispiece illustration and tissue guard are detached, but present. There is a dampstain at the foredge of the page block that makes the interior pages a little stiff. Two or more interior signatures are loose, and the pulpy paper is darkened at edges and a little brittle. The book is in readable condition, but would have to be handled carefully. The sequel to Barnum's Lion Jack.

London: Marshall Brothers; (no date). Hardcover. Good to very good- in original red cloth with black lettering on spine and black lettering and illustration of a Hindu young woman on the front board. Probably publishe around 1900 or a little earlier. The cloth is a little worn and soiled, with some loss at spine ends and a small hole in the middle of the spine. Owner name on front endpaper/half title page (possibly front endpaper is missing). Front hinge slightly cracked. "This is the story of a Hindu girl of high degree, telling of her life's struggles as a maiden, wife and widow." The author's last name is given as "Harband" on the front board, but given as "Harland" on the title page.

Small "Tulsa County Historical Society" stamp on endpapers; minor dampstain at top corner of page block. Inscribed by the author's son (who notes that it is "one of the few remaining copies") and dated in 1934. A scarce imprint from the Territorial capitol just three years after the Land Run opened the territory.
