Square octavo (19x18 cm). - 32 pages, uncut. - In original wrappers, illustrated in yellow and blue, in the cubist style. - In a protective clear acetate wrapper (which is somewhat yellowed and frayed, due to age). - Printed entirely in bright red, title page also in red, with a blue illustration. - With 2 full-page plates in blue, and 2 text illustrations in red. - First edition of the first book illustrated by Leger (and the only one in the cubist style). - No. 202 of 327 copies, 300 of which are "sur papier a la forme". - Very strongly anti-war, as indicated by the title itself ("J'ai tue" = I killed). - Both Cendrars (1887-1961) and Leger (1881-1955) served on the Western Front during World War I. (In fact, Cendrars lost his right arm in 1916.) - A BEAUTIFUL AND RARE PACIFIST DOCUMENT AND ART WORK.
