Along the long edge of the strip of 12 coupons (clipped, perhaps removed from an accounts ledger as receipts) is printed in large font: "Bijdrage Ten Behoeve van het Armwezen der Nederlandsche Israelitische Gemeente" [Contribution to the Almsfund of the Dutch Jewish Community].
