Also the names of all persons residing in the several villages in the county with a new census of Kalamazoo village". There is edge wear and spine and corners are repaired with brown cloth. There is a damp stain throughout and under lining to the Kalamazoo Village section and an occasional word or phrase elsewhere. Still all in all a good copy.

Book includes a phone book, street directory and business and professional directory. The spine has been reinforced with black leather. Several pages with a dog eared corner. Light finger soil throughout.

Lexington, Kentucky: Self published, 1950 Bound in black cloth with gilt titles, 92 pp. This is a collection of folk lore, Kentucky Tales the author heard as a young man, told repeatedly over a period of forty years while eventually over the same time frame writing them down. There are 31 stories in this collection. While self published and bound in paper covers, a library found enough merit in them to bind them in hard covers to preserve them. As such this ie ex-lib with the library markings. A scarce opportunity to read about an attempted escape by a slave and his panther encounter, courtship and marriage in rural Kentucky and other stories.

University Press of Kentucky: Little Brown, 1971 Bound in a yellow tan tweed with a bright purple image of a still on the front cover in a blue gray jacket with a still decoration on the front, 172 pp. Jacket has a sunned spine and two nicks, book with ink gift inscription on front end paper, else fine in near fine jacket.

Genealogical Publishing Company, 1983 Bound in red cloth with gilt titles, 151 pp.

Charming Linen-like Finish book, W-931, no place, no date. Covers plus 12 pages of drawings that resemble the Campbell Soup Kids. Sharp very good condition book with traces of soil on the cover. Judging from the other books I purchased from this estate, I believe this was published from the 1920s.

Grosset & Dunlap, 1927 Illustrated with scenes from Cecil B De Mille's 1927 Photoplay. Sharp copy in jacket with chips and closed tears, missing a 1/4" strip off the front bottom and a large piece on the back.

Houghton Mifflin, 1930 Bound in black cloth with red lettering. There is a small spot on the bottom of the front cover and some rubbing at the spine extremities, nice bright copy.

Putnam, 1991 Mostly unread copy with decorative jacket. Jacket with a touch of wrinkling at the top of both gutters, Fine +. Given all the signed copies I see, perhaps I could describe this as "rare unsigned copy".

Dayton, Ohio: Luxury Chewing Gum Company Bound in deep blue covers with silver decorations, oblong folio, 13 1/2 by 11". "One hundred twenty-eight beautiful views of scenery and places in hte western world". From internal evidence this c 1893. City views of Boston, New York, Butte, Montana, New Orleans, Chicago, etc. plus some of nature and Mexico. Covers are detached with front board scuffed. Pre-automobile views of New York City show horse drawn trolleys and buggies. Not just the major cities but St Augustine, Fort Wayne and Cleveland also shown.

Animated Book Co., 1942 Book with seven circus animations, all dealing with circus themes. Spiral bound hardback with clown with moving eyes and mouth on cover. Book is missing three metal buttons for pull tabs, with these amimations working well. One animation, that of an animal trainer sticking his head in a lion's mouth, is not working. There is also heavy shelfwear. Overall, still an eye-appealing book.
