1955. First Edition. An Original 1955 Programme (Programme Officiel). A French softcover. A VG copy. Superb front-cover artwork by Geo Ham. The winning was car a Jaguar D Type driven by Mike Hawthorn and Yvor Bueb. The 1955 Le Mans witnessed a terrible accident when a Mercedes Benz 300 SLR racing car flew into the crowd killing the driver (Pierre Levegh) and 82 spectators. In terms of human toll, it was the most catastrophic accident in motorsport history. Scarce.
