This portrait was created on the rear side of an invitation to a debut exhibition of Gallerie Paul Guillaume - a solo show of Mikhail Larionov and Natalia Goncharova. Paul Guillaume (1891-1934) was one of the 20th century greatest art dealers. He was a dealer of Chaïm Soutine, Amedeo Modigliani, Pablo Picasso, and others. Also, he was a pioneer of African art exhibitions and thus met with Guillaume Apollinaire (1880-1918). Paul Guillaume opened his first gallery in February 1914 at 6, rue de Miromesnil. Larionov traveled to Paris earlier. In 1906, Diaghilev organized a large retrospective exhibition of Russian art at the Grand Palais, included the artist's paintings in the exhibition and invited him himself, albeit as a worker, to mount M. Constructivist cover design combines typographic linear borders and a drawn element. All issues of the series were published in the similar designs differing the main color only. Very rare example of Belarusian textbooks printed in Latvia in the interwar period. Translated into Belarusian by Piatro Massal'ski. According to this particular book and common statistics, about 36 thousand Belarusians lived in Latvia in the 1930s (in contrast to 76,000 in 1921). After the Ulmanis' Coup (1934), Belarusian education gradually began to cease and wasn't restored after World War II. The book contains mass information about Latvia and the whole world, the text is supplemented with numerous photographs, drawings, charts. The bulletin features the geological article by Ilia Zdanevich 'Two Attempts to Climb Tbilisis-tsveri (4419 meters) in Uilpaty Mountains'. In the article Ilia described the efforts of the group of mountaineers to conquer the mountain in Adjara (now - north of Turkey). 10 page article is written in a very candid of cial language, quite opposite from the zaum and language of Zdanevich's futurist books. The efforts took place in the summer of 1916. On p. 274 there's more information on Zdanevich's journey, in couple of paragraphs it is summed up. There is a notion that Zdanevich saw previously unknown mountain in the area that he gave the name 'Le Dantu'. This is a catalogue of leather and haberdashery products produced by haberdashery factories in Odessa and Pryluky in the 1930s. The catalogue, which came out in 1936, documents the state of Soviet haberdashery in the pre-war period. The edition features 66 color illustrations of suitcases, bags, purses, and wallets manufactured in Ukrainian factories with captions and often the size of the items indicated.

Of all the kaleidoscope of the editions dedicated to the death of Lenin, this one gives the widest overview of the perception of the leader at the time. The contributors of the collection are numerous and eclectic, and the man, responsible for putting the materials together - the professor of medicine, one of the organisers of the Soviet medical system, Nikolay Semashko (1874-1949), who knew Lenin quite well, fits perfectly for the purpose. This is a catalogue of the exhibition which took place in 1939 in Erevan. There were presented graphic works by N. Altman, I. Brodsky, G. Vereisky, V. Voinov, E. Kibrik, V. Konashevich, E. Kruglikova, D. Kutateladze, D. Mitrokhin, A. Ostroumova-Lebedeva, N. Tyrsa, L. Khizhinsky, S. Yudovin and others. Overall 438 works. Each item in the catalogue is captioned with a technique and year of creation. The catalogue opens with introduction of which main goal was to introduce such graphic techniques as etching and lithography to a mass viewer. Not found in the Worldcat.

The book was put into print on April 18, 1945, twenty days before the capitulation of Germany. This festive edition was published for the first anniversary of the liberation of Leningrad. The siege of Leningrad lasted a grueling 872 days, from September 8, 1941, to January 27, 1944, and resulted in the death of over one million civilians and Red Army defenders. The edition was designed by the graphic artist Patvakan Grigor'iants (1899-1986). After graduating from the Krasnodar Art Institute in 1925, Patvakan continued his studies in VKHUTEIN (1925-1929). Since he typeset all elements of both covers, they look like components from different dimensions. This is one of a few handbooks on printing that was published in the Soviet Union in the 1920s. Interesting that three pre-revolutionary letters, used until the Russian orthography was reformed in 1917, were included in this manual as well - the author explained that by needs of the science libraries. After the first one, "Stone", Osip Mandelstam sought to publish a book "New Stone", but it appeared under the name "Tristia" in publishing house 'Petropolis' (Berlin) in 1922. Mandelstam agreed with the composition of poems but was furious about missing spots. In result of it, he has created his version of this collection, in Moscow, named it "The Second Book" and dedicated to wife Nadezhda Khazina.
