Large book measuring approx. 11x9 inches. The famous classic of the study of ants. Forel, an important psychiatrist, was also the leading ant specialist of his time contributing greatly to this body of knowledge. This is a former library book with a bookplate inside front cover and a blind stamp on title page. The cover shows a lot of wear, there is a three inch piece of the spine missing, rubbing and chipping around the edges, a small damaged spot on front. Glue stains inside the covers, There is a name on the ffep, age toning along page edges, a couple small stains, otherwise the pages are clean and in good shape.
