Complete, as issued, with Volume XI being the supplement. Bound in full leather bindings. Ornately embossed covers. Gilded spines. Raised hubs. The top edges are gilded. Printed on thick quality paper. With large font. Illustrated with full page plates. Large fold out in the supplemental volume. These measure slightly over 8 inches tall. 24.5 inches of shelf space. VERY GOOD condition. The leather is very fresh and supple. The hinges are all strongly attached. Some abrasion at the extremities, some abrasion and rubs along the spine area with two chips. Printed on quality paper, that is very fresh, bright, and clean. Appears free of any trace of foxing. No previous signs of ownership. This is a gorgeous set. Bound in the publisher's dark blue cloth binding over thick beveled boards. Front cover and spine intricately blocked and lettered in gilt and black. All edges cased in gilt.
