This is the fourth printing, in excellent condition, with map and book itself in pristine condition, no bumping, and tight binding. On the dustjacket, on the top front, is a slight roughness, but no sunning, no tears, no rubbing. The book is price clipped, and previous owners stamp on fep. The author, who also wrote The Thousand -Mile Summer, is a wonderful writer, with a zen-like approach to his walk through the Grand Canyon.

Slipcased, and within slipcase, a folding box, protecting book.First edition, first issue, paper uncut, with the mistake on the pictorial title "100L" reward, corrected afterwards to"L100." The illustrated title has the artists error on the reward of placing the "L" (sterling) after the 100 instead of before, which he altered on discovering the error. This issue is much scarcer. Tall 8vo., cont. dark green half calf, cloth, raised bands, elaborate gilt compartments, leather spine label, (xvi), 624pp. There is considerable foxing and browning on the frontispiece, engraved title and two bookplates,Barton Currie and Clara B. and Edward C. Daoust.Cracking between fep and ffep and bep and fbep, but this is still a very good copy in a very nice binding.

Slipcased, near fine copy of Master Humphrey's Clock. 3 vols. 4to. 306 pp., 306 pp., 426 pp. Bound in original brown boards, with tooling, and gilt spine, and gold embossed "clock" on front cover. All boards are gorgeously tooled with gilt rules and inner floral dentelles. All have marbled endpapers. There is some moderate wear to the boards; the corners of boards have bumps; The original gilt-stamped, brown, cloth binding from the front board and from the spine is neatly bound into each volume at the conclusion of the text. The cloth from each front board features a gilt-stamped clock whose hand points to the hour which represents the volume number. With black-and-white illustrations by Hablot K. Browne ("Phiz") and George Cattermole, engraved on wood by E. Landells, C. Gray,Vasey, and S. Williams. Daniel Maclise and Samuel Williams each prepared one illustration. This first edition, three-volume set is in excellent condition: clean, tight and bright throughout
