Internally, half title, [5], 6-106 pp, [1], [1] colophon, an edition limited to 120 hand printed printed copies for Holroyd-Reece by Giovanni Mardersteig (1892-1977) who moved his press to Verona in 1927 from Switzerland. Printed for Ethel and Philip Snowden (1864-1937) with her bookplate (Viscountess Snowden 1881-1951) who was a socialist, suffragist & peace campaigner. He was an important figure in the early Labour Party. Per WorldCat, 1 copy only in UK - Oxford Uni.

Dusart fe 1689" to the left corner and then the engravers initials followed by "sc: 1767". The images are of 1: A man in rustic clothing, seated in a Barrel chair, head tilted back to the left as he exhales a puff of smoke, pipe in right hand, hat held at his side at left. and 2: A man in rustic clothing, wearing an apron and soft hat, a cloth draped over left shoulder, seen from behind as he stands pouring a drink from a pitcher in his right hand. Both images engraved by Captain Baillie after Cornelis Dusart. (Hollstein 1/2. Meyer 1872-85 73/74).

Two engraved portraits, one a steel engraving dated 1819 (an early version of the frontispiece portrait to "The Memoir"), and the other a full-length depiction of Jones by AB Burt ("miniature painter, Chester"), hand coloured and dated May 30th., 1823; a printed broadside titled "Craniology. Outlines of the Life of Richard Roberts Jones" which advertises the Burt engravings; three manuscript fragments: one in Greek headed "The Order of Harps", eight small octavo pages with a drawing of a Harp on the final page, a transcription of the Lord's Prayer in three languages and a note in Greek signed by Jones dated February 3rd, 1824. All housed in a Fine custom box in black half morocco over blue marbled boards, gilt tooling, gilt title & tooling to morocco label on upper board, gilt tooling & titles to spine. (Box 403*296 mm).
