The text block is tight and square, but both boards are split at the hinge, although bot are holding it is just barely. The upper 20% of the leather covering the spine is off and that along the rear board is chipped off. It is rubbed through at the tips of the corners. It has gray end papers and 154, clear pages with occasional foxing in a three-quarter binding with brown leather on the spine and corners. There were gilt titles on the spine, mostly gone.
