Hinges good, all plates present, no foxing, binding cracked between frontispiece and title page; covers not worn, spine lettering bright, two corners slightly rounded, top of spine worn for 2 inches from the top on both side and detached slightly for 1 inch of the top of the spine in back. Book is slighty cocked. Ex-library: St. Charles College, Catonsville with a small sticker inside the front cover and a stamp on the title page; no call number or library markings on the spine, and no card holder. St. Charles College was a Roman Catholic seminary, rebuilt after a fire in 1911 and which closed in 1969. The book does not appear to have been read much.

This is the second revised edition; no publication date but post 1931 (this date is mentioned in the text) and before WW II.
