Gray paper covered boards with red and black title on pasted down on label on front cover cover. Chipped paper title label on spine. Rear board paper is warped and rear end sheets soiled. Top and bottom of spine is chipped. Corners are edge worn. Contents are printed on fine linen paper. On the front paste down is an obituary regarding the author and a pencil note next to the article "Cousin Mollies Friend". A loose calling card from Rev. & Mrs. Charles Jewett Collins with a note written on the back side of the card relating to the author and a Christmas blessing on the front of the calling card. Book contains essays written by Tinsley for the Staunton weekly newspaper "Vindicator" under the pen name "P. Boyzy.

Note: Reprint of an extremely rare pamphlet published in Philadelphia (Printed by R. Aitken, Bookseller, in Market-Street, Three Doors above the Cofee-House. MDCC.LXXXI) with an attached annex of a tabular statement of the exports, etc., from the Port of Savannah from 1754 to 1773. The preface is written by George Wymberly-Jones. "The pamphlet is so exceedingly rare, that I have never seen or heard of any other copy than the one in the Philadelphia Library, marked 464, Q. 18, from which this reprint is made. Of the present edition there are but twenty-one copies printed." (GWJ).
