First edition, thus, of this exceedingly scarce printer’s proof for one of the last shows of the Great Roman Hippodrome performed in New York before it moved to Boston for it’s run there. The 1938 Super 8 was the larger of the company’s 8 cylinder models, and was the 2nd year of the Sixteenth Series Super 8, who after the Series 12 was discontinued in 1939 was renamed the Super 8 160. The 1938 16th Series 12 featured a 128 in. wheelbase, with heavier design fenders, the column shift was an option, and the shape would continued to be used for the 1939 17th Series.
