Good. This rare two-volume matched set was formerly in the St. Teresa College Library. Both volumes are clothbound in purple and are faded from long shelf life; they are also lightly worn around the edges. The pages of the books are unmarked and they both have good bindings. The indicators of their former library life are call numbers in white letters on the spine; a book pocket, labels and stamps inside the front cover; stamps and notations on the title page and dedication page; and a stamp on page 17. Included with the set are two book marks: one is of a performance with Leon Barzin, and the other with a quotation by Cicil Birder. Volume one has yellowed tape over the white call number on the spine thus breaking somewhat the continuity of appearance of the two volumes. Volume one is "The Vocal Forms" and is 91 pages; volume two is "The Instrumental Forms" and is 89 pages.

This repaired spine has two two inch rips at the top edge, and the top and bottom inch of the original spine are worn off. The cover is scuffed and the corners are worn off, leaving them rounded. Many pages are loose and the binding has split into many different sections. The pages are heavily foxed.
