Boston: Anne & David Bromer, 1989.. Miniature book (3.5 x 3 cm; 1.5 x 1.25"). Decorated boards, paper label. About fine. First edition. 29 illustrations by Gorey, each opposed by text relating to the mysterious liquid, Q.R.V. The published edition consisted of 400 copies printed by Darrell Hyder, of which 110 were specially bound, slipcased, with coloring by Gorey. This is an uncolored copy, in the variant binding executed on the colored copies, denoted as out-of-series ('os') and signed by Edward Gorey. The second true miniature by Gorey. BRADBURY (Bromer) 15.

[Paris]: Editions G.L.M., 1936.. Small octavo. Typographically decorated wrappers. Mounted black & white photograph as frontis (after a drawing by Hans Bellmer). A fine copy. First edition of the precocious author's third book. One of 170 numbered copies on velin, from a total edition of 205 (plus h.c. copies). Prassinos (born in Turkey in 1920) was quickly adopted by the surrealists as a creator of automatic writing par excellence. Her first book, LA SAUTERELLE ARTHRITIQUE was published in 1935, accompanied by a preface by Paul Eluard and a photograph by Man Ray.
