Hardcover. sm4to, 23.5x 19.5cm, vingette title page and 26 leaves printed on one side each with a beautiful full colour chromo-litho plates or illustration (inc. 3 plates with 2 illus., & one full page plates), original light green cloth, elaborately gilt and colour decorated with two colour panel illustrations laid down on the upper cover, a.e.g., hinges re-glued, slightly dust worn, some wear on the edges and corners, a very good copy, rare (kds). - WorldCat indicates three editions in 1884 & 1885 but cites only two copies. The title page title (as opposed to the cover title) reads "Quacks kcau" as numerials on a clock. Each illustration is of ducks or ducklings.
