Two popular modern horseracing titles: 1. "Queen of the Turf (The Dorothy Paget Story)" by Quintin Gilbey. Published in hardback by Arthur Barker in 1974. Second Edition. 160pp. 2. "No Secret So Close (The Biography of Bruce Hobbs)" by Tim Fitzgeorge-Parker. Published in hardback by Pelham Books in 1984. First Edition. 182pp. Both books are in Very Good condition. Their binding is tight and the boards are clean with no annotations or inscriptions internally. The page edge blocks have minimal evidence of handling (although the Gilbey one has darkened and spotted on the top edge, as usual). There is no foxing in either book. The Gilbey dustjacket is in Very Good Plus condition while the Fitzgeorge-Parker one is in Very Good Minus condition as it has faded to the spine area.
