Three volumes, 312pp, 278pp, and 272pp. Good condition. This set is not too attractive on the the surface, but quite nice inside. The covers are all sunfaded, with soiling and insect nibbling, including through the fabric along the gutters of volume two. Inside there is age toning to the endpapers, but otherwise the contents are quite nice. The contents are clean and unmarked, with occasional light foxing. The bindings are tight. Captain Reid was an adventure novelist, credited by Theodore Roosevelt as an early inspiraton. (cfm)

Otherwise clean and unmarked with no foxing. Binding is square and tight. A very nice copy of Le Ploongeon's epic poem expressing her archeological theories about Queen Moo and Chac Mool from the late 19th century as fiction.  Work by later archeologists showed that fiction was the correct choice. Unique to this line, it was the only major coastal line that did not serve the port of New York on a regular basis. Founded in 1861 it continued to 1952 when various circumstances including expanded competition from rail, truck, and aviation forced it to close down. Cover shows small signs of shelf wear; mild foxing on title page; otherwise a tight, clean copy.
