(May be the true first since Clarke is British.) Incredible wrap-around dust jacket art by Laurel Pascal, far superior to the silly art used by the first US edition. Fine in Fine- Dust jacket, a beautiful copy with some aging. Boards are sharp and clean, dust jacket is bright and beautiful, with just a hint of nicking to corners. Dust jacket artwork by Rick Sternbach, one of the best trade edition covers of a science fiction novel in a hardcover edition prior to 1980. Condition: Near Fine Pages in about Near Fine binding. Main shortcoming is rubbing to the edges of the boards and a little bit to the title labels.
