A poster created to celebrate the 2005 publication of Anne Bachelier's illustrated edition of Alice's Adventures in Wonderland and Through the Looking-glass and What Alice Found There. The image shows Little Bill climbing a ladder, and appears on page 33 of Alice's Adventures in Wonderland. The image measures 18.5" x 23.5" on a 19.75" x 25" poster.

NY: Macmillan [1906]. 12mo, x 309pp. Blue-gray cloth pictorially stamped in red, green and white; t.e.g. 20 full-page b&w illustrations. Some rubbing to spine ends, corners and outer hinges, spine a bit darkened, rear cover has a few small bubbles to cloth and is slightly rubbed, minute traces of internal hand-soiling, else an otherwise clean, tight copy.
First edition. When their father is falsely imprisoned for spying, Roberta, Peter and Phyllis move to a new house near the railway. There they find adventures that result in proving their father's innocence and reuniting the family. One of Nesbit's most beloved books, and the basis for two films.

[ERNEST NISTER]. Railway Train Book. (No artist credited). London: Ernest Nister (ca. 1900). Oblong 4to, [16]pp (all printed on extra-thick cardboard stock). Maroon cloth spine with color pictorial front board and glazed rear board. Color illustrations on every page. Edges worn, cover scratched and soiled, portion at top center of front board appears to have been reaffixed, internal pages aged – particularly at edges, with some light traces of hand-soiling in the margins. Nonetheless, an attractive copy of this extremely scarce, somewhat fragile book.
Turn of the century train book. Featuring wonderful full-color illustrations on every page of trains from around the world, this delightful picture book (printed on thick cardboard) is a lovely addition to any collection of books about railroads. With trains from France, Britain, South Africa, Canada, and all across the United States, these charming illustrations capture the history of trains at the turn of the 20th century.

Gray endpapers; 23 full-color plates and numerous b&w illustrations. A fine copy in original color pictorial dust jacket. Signed by the artist, Michael Hague, with a very detailed full-page drawing of a dragon reading a book.
First Hague-illustrated edition with the best drawing done by Hague we've ever seen him create in one of his books. Michael Hague selected and brilliantly captures a collection of 31 stories from Lang's beloved series of fairy tale books in stunning watercolors and pencil drawings. From Hans Christian Andersen's literary tales to the traditional stories preserved by Perrault and the Brothers Grimm to the timeless folktales of Europe, Africa, Asia, and Native America, this collection ranges from the very well-known to the more obscure.

First edition. The 7th novel in Cleary's beloved Ramona Quimby series, which directly follows the Newbery Honor-winning Ramona Quimby, Age 8 and follows the titular character as she comes to terms with growing up.

A clean, bright copy, with slight rubbing to lower extremities and spine ends, front hinge mended, light discoloration to endpapers where exposed to dust jacket flaps, faint gouge to fore-edge with quarter-inch tear at edge of last five leaves. In original dust jacket (a few small chips and tears at edges, light sunning to spine and upper edge of flaps). Rare in dust jacket!
First edition. The adventures of the irrepressible, passionate young Rebecca Rowena Randall of Sunnybrook Farm have enchanted readers for nearly 120 years. Mark Twain called the book, "beautiful and warm and satisfying," while Jack London wrote, "Rebecca won my heart."
