There is some slight color loss to the night image on the right hand side of the illustration. There is wear, light fraying to the spine ends and the boards show at the tips/corners. There is also some soiling to the upper left corner of the rear board. The front gutter is open and webbing can be seen, and the front free end paper is loosely laid in. The rear gutter shows signs of beginning open. All edges are gilt. There is a Christmas gift inscription in ink on the second front free end paper. This volume includes twenty illustrations by J.
