Nicely bound by Hatchards in half green grained gilt-ruled calf over green boards. Spine with five gilt-ruled raised bands and gilt boxed compartments with title, author and date in gilt. Nice quality heavier gauge paper pages. Top page edges in gilt, remainder uncut.
CONDITION
In overall good condition. The binding is in firm and tight condition. There are some general scuffs, marks and knocks to the binding and some small losses of leather to some of the spine compartments. Light rubbing of hinges and board edges, and bumping to board corners. Internally the pages are wonderfully clean and bright with just some minor dulling to end-papers.
Overall, a nice signed binding in good condition.
