Wrappers with a few small spots and some light soiling and edgewear, internally clean and unblemished save the library markings to the preliminaries. 8vo (9 x 6.25 inches). 146, [4] pages. Color frontispiece, black-and-white plates. Original salmon printed wrappers. Provenance: Hastings Historical Society (label on front pastedown, donor's name in ink on-half-title). Sold on behalf of the Society to Benefit their annual fund. SCARCE FIRST EDITION, one of only 400 privately-printed copies, most of which were distributed to members of the club. The Saint Andrews Golf Club in Hastings-on-Hudson, New York is the oldest golf club in the United States. John Reid of Dunfermline, Scotland, founded the club in 1888. It has existed in its current site since 1897, and features an 18-hole golf course designed by golf course architects William H. Tucker and Harry Tallmadge. In 1983, the track was refurbished by legendary golfer Jack Nicklaus.

Pen-and-ink drawing, 11 3/4 x 10 3/4 inches, on verso of printed sheet (possibly a printer's proof), inscribed at head to his attorney "Pour Miguel Angelo St[star]," undated but circa 1970s. Dali made a number of drawings of Saint George and the dragon, with the present executed in his characteristic loose and fluid style. A fine drawing with impeccable provenance.

Original half white parchment, grey-green boards. Provenance: Arthur C. Cooper (armorial bookplate). Number 29 of 100 copies of the second edition, printed on Imperial Japan (the first had 143 pages). Davis was one of the eight founding members of the Cascapedia Club, which purchased the lease of the river from the Canadian Government in the 1870s (it had previously been leased to Canada's Governor Generals).
