Title page indicates that this is "revised" from a 5655 edition; however singerman lists no other earlier publications by this author or with this title, nor any publication from this congregation in 5665, so we presume this to have been perhaps a manuscript or private edition. "Before serving as rabbi of San Francisco's Congregation Sherith Israel (1893-1930) , Jacob Nieto was first a rabbi in Sheffield, England (1889-1892) .
