Ilustrated with several fold out maps and a b/w photographic frontispiece plate as called for. Silver embossed lettering to the spine. Sligth bump to the head of the spine. Name and date inscription in blue biro to the head of the front end paper. Otherwise fresh and clean. Dust wrapper not price clipped with light sunning to the spine of the wrapper and slightly to the periphery of the wrapper. Slightest of creasing to the head and tail of the spine of the wrapper. No tears or loss. This is a well preserved, very good copy.

No Illustrations. 90pp. A scarce copy of this first edition thus, written in Dutch. Bound in half cloth with paper covered boards. Fading to the spine strip which has some gilt embossed lettering to the spine. Slight split to the cloth along the outer hinges at the head and tail of the spine for no more than 1 cm. There is a littlle chipping to the paper covering of the front board adjacent to the cloth spine. Some rubbing to the board edges and scattered light foxing to the end papers. Previous owners contemporary ink inscription to the head of the title page. There is a little normal age toning to the pages and a little pencil marginialia. Otherwise the book is clean and tight. A very good minus copy.

Clean and tight. A very good copy.

A soil mark to the head of the spine. Splitting to both sides of the spine strip at the tail of the spine for 3 cm in length. Some light rubbing to the edges of the boards. Loss of 2 cm from the top of the title page that appears to have been cut away. Occasional pencil notation to the end papers. Very ocasional fox spot - this book is in extremely good condition for its age, being tight and clean. A very good copy.

Dust wrapper is price clipped and is protected in a fullly reversible plastic sleeve. There is a little rubbing to the edges of the wrapper and remains clean and complete. A very good copy in a very good minus wrapper.

Bound in blue paper covered boards with a colour pictorial onlay to the front board. Light bump to the tail of the spine and a slight bump to the head of the spine and to the head of the front board. Two corners lightly bumped. There are a few thum soil marks most noticeable to the corner of the front end paper and a small neat ink name inscription to the head of the front end paper - nevertheless a very birght, fresh copy. Dust wrapper is price clipped with some light toning to the wrapper - most marked to the spine of the wrpaper. A little soiling to the front edge of the rear panel of the wrapper and a small circular soil mark to the front panel of the wrapper.
