World Publishing, 1966. Hardcover. Very Good/Fair. Navy jacket with children around a Christmas tree over red cloth boards with black frame decoration. Early printing but likely not a first - no edition stated, "8" printed on page 160. Book is in excellent condition - no damage, writing, markings to pages. Price clipped jacket is only fair, with a significant tear to lower front at spine, other 1/2 inch tears and chips, 1 inch tear to lower rear and a quite long loss of the top layer of paper (as if a long piece of tape had been ripped off without care, perhaps) to the rear panel, just above the candle illustration.

Book is excellent - clean and unmarked in vibrant red boards. Jacket only fair with large tear to top front, smaller tear to interior of front jacket, small tear to lower rear, a bit of toning. Would present attractively in Brodart, but I happen not to have any of the appropriate size--the book is about 8.5 x 11. but wider than it is tall.

Useful book for those with an affinity for things Scottish--a through description of the clan system, and 114 full color illustrations of tartans of various clans. Sticker from seller, Scottish Imports of San Francisco, as well as blank order form from same and their 20 page full color catalog from 1959-60 on heavy cardstock laid in. Very good in a like jacket--some chipping to jacket, price clipped, but overall a nice copy.

Covers production and consumption around the world, proper brewing, teapots, tea ceremonies, etc. Slight bow to cover and slight bend to lower front corner--pages browning a bit. Overall VG. Included is a tea and teapot catalog from now defunct Chicago tea company (Madam Chung finest teas) with information on Chinese varieties and brewing instructions.

A book of drawings and color plates of assorted drawing from the Danish artist Ebbe Sadolin, with forward and text by Lars Rostrup Boysen, in Danish. Stated date of 1946, Small folio in wraps, with a bit of wear to the top edge and bottom front corner, not affecting images at all. Some pages, mainly of the pencil drawings, are browning. Plates are images of Copenhagen, some landscapes, a number of portraits including several nudes. A lovely collection, otherwise unavailable in the U.S.
