Bulletin board poster announcing a screening of the documentary film by Gil Noble at LA's First Unitarian Church, shortly after Robeson's death. Robeson had been a frequent presence at the church, one of the few venues where he was able to perform during the time he was blacklisted. This event featured his friend and colleague Prof. Don Wheeldin.

Prokosch has inscribed this copy at the front with a Christmas wish to Josephine Crane, wealthy New York socialite and hostess of a long-running literary salon in her Fifth Avenue apartment. Laid in is a brief autograph letter signed by Prokosch to Mrs. Crane, written from the American embassy in Paris and announcing his pending arrival in New York.
