Description:
New York, New York, U.S.A.: Signet Classic, 1990. Soft cover. Near Fine. Even after more than a hundred years, Tarzan of the Apes stands as a classic story of adventure. Dated in many ways, it is still solid fun and a pleasure for readers of all ages. This is the first mass-market paperback edition of the book put out as a Signet Classic, and it has an Introduction by Gore Vidal that originally appeared in Esquire in 1963. This is an unread copy of the book. It has suffered light shelf wear, with a little chipping at the edges of the spine and near the front cover's lower corner. There is a large sticker on the back cover that is the main reason this is not listed as Fine. Pages are tight, clean, and unmarked. 12mo - over 6¾ - 7¾" tall.

Description:
New York, New York, U.S.A.: A. L. Burt Company, 1911. 2nd Edition. Hardcover. Fair. Gilbert, John Clitheroe. This book was named by Ronald Reagan as one of his favorites, and for helping shape his spiritual consciousness. More than a century after it was written, reader reviews indicate it is still moving readers' hearts today. First printed in 1902/3, That Printer of Udell's was brought out in a second edition in 1911. No printing is specified for this copy, though a gift inscription on the front end paper is from 1922. The edition has a light green cover with red letters and black accenting. The pastedown picture on the front cover is lightly worn but still clear, and the four interior illustrations are present and clean. There is considerable wear to spine and cover edges, with bumping. The front hinge is loose, but the pages are tight. Beyond age-related yellowing, some liquid spill in the past has left traces at the tops of the pages, but text and pictures are not affected by this. This will… Read More
