Collection of five vintage reference photographs, all quite striking, of Patty Duke in various states of celebrity, intoxication, or depravity in the 1967 film. Based on Jacqueline Susann's 1966 best selling novel. Shown in one of the photographs is author Susann, who appears in a cameo as a reporter who interviews Duke. A big budget film that became a cult classic. The story, though presented in 1967, was based on Susann's experience with the 1940s Broadway theater and Hollywood scene, with an emphasis on the abuse of the business, sex and pills. 8 x 10 inches. Distributor rubber-stamps on the versos, and one with cropping annotations. Generally well regarded dinosaur film, about a cowboy who seeks fame and fortune by capturing a Tyrannosaurus Rex (the Gwangi) and exploiting it in a Mexican circus. Visual effects guru, Ray Harryhausen, who discovered the aging screenplay in a box in his garage, proved his mastery yet again in this film, creating a surprisingly lifelike creatures. 8 x 10 inches. An erotic, vampire horror entry in which a beautiful, seductive vampire befriends a young woman and begins to feast off her blood. The lesbian relationship between the vampire and her young victim concerned the censor, who warned that they might have to cut significant portions before it was suitable for release. However, once the production company made it clear that the lesbian relationship was implied in the source material and was not simply a sensationalist ploy, the film was released uncensored.
