Title in red with first page of "Lift Ev'ry Voice and Sing" printed lightly in gray as background on front side. Vertical crease and a few short edge tears. Address label at top on front side. Dinkins prevailed over the incumbent Democratic Mayor (Ed Koch) in the Primary and went on to become the first African American to serve as mayor of New York City after he defeating Rudolph Giuliani in the General Election. He served one four year term before losing to Giuliani in the 1993 rematch.

Very Good. 20 quality photos, 18 of which are mounted one to a side on and the other two (smaller) photos are mounted together on a single page. No captions, signatures or other writing. Almost all photos approximately 16 x 11 cm. Album leaves stair-stepped so that each succeeding leaf is a bit longer horizontally than the preceding leaf. Undated ( probably late 19th century). The first photo is of a railroad track heading straight ahead through the wooded wilderness; 5 of the next 6 photos are of Mt. Kineo peninsula and Mt. Kineo House. No shorts or casual attire in these photos. A large group photo is taken in front of a cottage bearing a small "Ten Oaks" sign. A final unidentified photo is a winter photo of a sleigh appearing to be on a frozen body of water beside a pier in front of a large unidentified building.

In the Art Nouveau (Platino) Stereograph series. A fine Example, with Two Japanese chops on the back. Photographic immage of a line of Japanese women awaiting an immunization shot administered by a taller man in a white uniform. 1901-1907 was a period when Chinese immigration was cut off but Japanes immigration was unrestricted. 120,000 immigrants from Japan came to the United States during that period. The official has hold of the arm of a Japanese woman who has pulled her arm out of her kimono sleeve, partially revealing her breast. The scowls and unhappy looks on the face of many of the Japanese seeing this being photographed suggest that this was offensive to the immigrants who probably felt helpless to protest.
