The first Brand Book, actually issued in 1948. With contributions by Noah Beery, Jr., J. Gregg Layne, Paul Galleher, Arthur Woodward, Ramon Adams, others. Ex- Nebraska State Historical Society copy, with the remnant of their tipped-in bookplate to the front pastedown and a withdrawn stamp to the second blank. The book has a 1/8" puncture in the cloth near the top of the front cover (not through to the endpaper) and a touch of wear at the extremites. There are no external library markings.
