Description:
Liver Heath, Bucks: Viscount Films. Liver Heath, Bucks, Viscount Films, 1961. Manuscript. Unbound. A very good copy. The final draft dated 21/4/1961. Terry Nation is perhaps best known for his work on Doctor Who and Blake's 7. In 1962 he worked on the second Doctor Who serial, titled The Daleks, and is credited with their creation. Later, he created Davros. Prior to 1962 he had co-written a number of comedy scripts, but What a Whopper was his first solo credit. The film was released on the 17th of October 1961 and starred Sid James and Adam Faith, along with Clive Dunn and Spike Milligan, and the ill-fated Carole Lesley. Nation's script is a reworking of Jeremy Lloyd's original. The present copy is a working copy of the script. It is signed Lionel followed by Windsor (I think). The only link I can put together is that the script is that of Lionel Couch who was the art director for the film (and lots of Carry On films). That said, there are numerous script amendments and additions that…

Description:
London: Orbit. London, Orbit, 1990-2013. First Edition. First Impression. Hardback. A very good set, complete with the additional volume. Jordan's Wheel of Time series is a monumental epic fantasy saga, with the final three volumes being completed by Jordan's death by Sanderson based on Jordan's notes (though Jordan expected it to be one volume). The series weaves a rich tapestry of intricate world-building, complex characters, and a gripping battle between good and evil - as expected. With its deep exploration of themes like destiny, power, and the cyclical nature of time, this series stands as a timeless masterpiece that continues to captivate readers and influence the fantasy genre. Some tanning to the page blocks on some volumes, some gentle edge wear and rolling to some, bumping to some spine tips. Some boards have a little handling wear and there is the odd spot here and there. A nice set overall [10850, Hyraxia Books]. 1990-2013 . Very Good. Hardback. 1st Edition. 1990.

Description:
London: Smith, Elder & Co.. London, Smith, Elder & Co., 1903. First Edition. First Impression. Hardback. A near fine copy in a very good jacket. Seemingly a variant issue. The White Company in this format was the first volume in a run of 1000 copies. This appears to be an out of series copy of that book (the other volumes aren't included) with a different signature leaf not mentioning the print run but mentioning presentation copy instead. The book includes the dust jacket. I've marked this as very good, mainly because of its age, but it does have a couple of chips and a large stain to the spine wrapping round to the rear, some further chipping there too. Spine tips are a bit bumped. TEG. [10078, Hyraxia Books]. . Near Fine. Hardback. 1st Edition. 1903.
