They were exhibited at Arts Traunstein in 2019 and are an eclectic mix of textiles, including about 50 carpets, bag faces, horse trappings from Persia, Turkey, the Caucasus, Belouchistan, Turkmenistan, Uzbekistan, Morocco, India and China; they include court, town, village and tribal workshops. The non-rug textiles include a Scythian fragment from the 1st century BC, Persian and Caucasian silk embroideries, a Moroccan sash, Turkmen tent band, 4th to 6th century Coptic fragment, and a Jain temple hanging. There is a focus on textiles from before 1800. The colors are good; many have not been published before and for the ones which have been published earlier, references are given. In German.
