Description:
The Wheels of If by L. Sprague de Camp Hardcover First Edition - First Printing Shasta Press 1949. Classic SF/Fantasy. $3.00 cover price intact, wrap-around Hannes Bok dust jacket art.
Just about Fine in Near Fine Dust Jacket. Book is near perfect, straight corners, clean pages, binding solid, tiniest hint of age-toning to the text block, very minimal. Dust jacket is essentially just about all there, its main shortcoming some fraying to the bottom edge at the spine, some edge-wear at the top of the spine, and a little bit of toning to the spine. Overall still a nice copy of an uncommon book especially with the Bok dust jacket art. The fraying to the bottom spine reduces the price by $100+. Would be priced closer to $300 if the dust jacket were near-perfect.NOTE: All books with dust jackets come with dust jacket covers.

Description:
Who Goes There? Seven Tales of Science Fiction by John W. Campbell Hardcover First Edition - First Printing Shasta Press 1948. $3.00 cover price intact. Cover art by Hannes Bok including the back which is unusual for genre fiction prior to circa 1960, regarded as one of Bok's best efforts.
Fine in Fine- Dust Jacket. A fine book with only the typical age-toning and a bookseller sticker on the back board which was common with books being sold prior to circa 1960. Clothed in one of the best original jackets I've seen for this book. NO tears and NO chips. Very tiny nicks to the corners, with just a hint of edge-wear here and there, else a spectacular copy of one of the classics of science fiction.
"Who Goes There?", the title story of this collection, was originally published in 1938 in Astounding Science Fiction under the pen name Don A. Stuart. The title story is its first appearance in hardcover.
The title story is also the basis for several feature films. The first entitled "The Thing From Another… Read More

Description:
The Witch Tree Symbol Nancy Drew Mystery Stories #33 by Carolyn Keene (but actually written by Harriet Stratemeyer Adams) Hardcover First Edition - First Printing Grosset & Dunlap 1955. The list of Nancy Drew titles ends with this title and the back of the dust jacket is an add for Dana Girls Mystery Stories indicating this is a true first printing copy. Fine in Fine-/Near Fine++ Dust Jacket. A fine book with just the tiniest hint of age-toning, minimal, in just about as nice a dust jacket as you're likely to find. NO tearing to any of the dust jacket at all. Even the back of the dust jacket is quite bright and clean (often the backs of these jackets are darkened). Only some rubbing on the upper-right front corner, and some edge-wear mostly to the upper and lower spine and the top edge. Else this is a near-perfect copy! A stunning example price to sell.NOTE on Nancy Drew First Editions/First Printings: The Nancy Drew and Hardy Boy books are rather notorious for having issues concerning what is a first… Read More

Fine in Fine Dust Jacket. An incredibly superb copy. Clean copy, straight corners, almost no discernible reading wear, only a tiny hint of aging to the text-block which is to be expected. The dust jacket is just about as near-perfect as you could ask for. Right now, appears to be fairly difficult to find in this edition.
